Counting my blessings.....

Today I took Josh and Ben to breakfast and then to the church by 8:15am for the Youth Trip to Praise on the Mountain at Six Flags. I made Jeriah ride along with me as Tom had a Care Pastor's Breakfast meeting at 8am with his pastoral staff. So, Jeriah and I went thru Starbucks before going back home. When I got to first screen to order the dude taking my order was singing out..."Good Morning, What can I make for you today?" It was in a pseudo Italian accent. You have to give him credit for having the boldness to try and be super cheerful at 8:30am in the morning. I don't try. lol
Then when I got to the window....I was handing my $4.00's for coffee out and she said, "It's already been taken care of!" with a smile. I didn't know what she meant, but I said, "Thank You!"....took my coffee and kept hanging my money out of the window. And, she said again...."The car in front of you...paid for your coffee!" Wow! I was a little shocked. (Said, Thank You, again) and drove off. Jeriah said, "Mom, why did the lady in front of you pay for your coffee? Do you know her?"
I didn't. But, I told him, the Lord was using a stranger to remind us that he see's us and cares for us.... and there is love and goodness in the world and He notices even the sparrow that falls. Jeriah was very curious about that experience. He also wondered if God was going to have someone give her a free coffee too? :-)

Sharayah has been visiting the sites of Indianapolis and visiting the Art Museum two days in a row. She is a lover of art and music. She's gotten her friends to tag along with her. She sent me a cell pix of the gardens at the museum. Keeping up the family tradition of appreciating art and beauty in the world!:-)

ps. I woke up with a chest cold. I can sing bass on Sunday if I would like. Sharayah didn't recognize my voice today when I called. Besides being low...I can't get much above a whisper.
