While in Michigan for 3 weeks...I decided the kids needed to learn to do a little gardening. They had a lot of time to veg and have no work...only play time. :-) Being the good mother that I am I thought up a work project. haha I had the kids all get a shovel and help me plant bushes and local plants that can survive the Michigan weather and come out each year. It was hot and they appreciated the air condition when we went inside. Lunch was much tastier. lol Unfortunately I got Poison Ivy from going into the woods and picking out rocks to be a border for the flower bed. I had the boys with me...but they would be afraid to reach into the the bushes and get a rock. I think I must have forgotten what poison ivy looks like. I'm miserable. It's very itchy. :-O
