It takes a long time to drive from California to Michigan in a car with 5 people. We stop to eat and sometimes we cannot all agree so we capitulate. I'm getting over the hill to the point where spicy Mexican foods and pizza don't do it for me. I try to follow what the kids want and it can get me into trouble. lol They wanted Mexican food when we got to Indiana. It felt like we were in California. There was a Mariachi band and they had that fun sense of humor that we are accustomed to in our Hispanic friends back home. I was sick(from traveling)lol and just there for the kids. The band leader decided to serenade our table with quite a few songs and insisted the kids get up and sing with them. It was fun for the kids. They laughed a lot. A little taste of home.
