Forgiveness

I want you to be perfect.

You want me to be perfect.

I want me to be perfect.

You want you to be perfect.

We want them to be perfect.

They want us to be perfect.

And no one meets the criteria.

So, we criticize and call it constructive...

we gossip and call it news...

we generalize and call it Truth...

we throw away people and call it progress...

All the while struggling to protect our own fragile essence.

When will we learn

to be ourselves?

to trust each other?

to embrace the lost and lonely?

to celebrate this moment?

~~~~~~~
Because --All we really have is each other-Today!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

THE RELATIONSHIP IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN
THE ISSUE AT HAND.
RESTORE THE RELATIONSHIP.

Christmas Party

Last night we had the Care Pastor's, Trustees and Administrative Staff at our house for a Christmas gathering. We had a great time. I cooked a southern meal and they all seem to enjoy it. Exchanged gifts and just had fun visiting with each other. Today we have a leadership dinner after service for about 60 of the church leaders in varous departments. Christmas is such a warm time. I'm looking foward to Sharayah coming home this week. She'll be home for a month! Missin' my baby girl.

Christmas Time is Here.....

We went to a lovely Christmas Party last night for our SoCal Section of Ministers. It was at Knotts Berry Farm banquet hall. Everyone was happy to see each other and the Villarenn Family were there to sing their Christmas Cantata...it is so neat to see 4 brothers and their wives...all so talented singing and such beautiful harmony!!! Debbie Saiz and I finally nailed down a lunch date. We've been trying to go to lunch for years and we live an hour apart. We see each other across the U.S. at conferences...and then it just seems impossible to get together here on our own turf. lol So, now that you all know....she and I will have to keep the date. haha I can't remember when this picture was taken...but, it was a Christmas some time back. With Leah Arrowood in the middle. Okay Deb...see ya for Lunch! Meet at my house at 11:30. :-)
