Princess Tea Party for some special girls

We have the most darling little girls at church. I love to engage them in conversation. Today I brought 4 of them home....ages 4, 5, & 6yrs for a Princess Tea Party. I prepared them gift bags with a crown, polly pocket doll, lip gloss, a writing board...etc...-and then also took them shopping to make some personal choices-it's a fun day for girls -if they get to shop and spend money.:-) We went to the park to play a little and swing....then we headed back to the house to play with our things and have a little more tea. I read them books and they really seem to enjoy the girls day. A couple of little girls told me it was the best day of their life and they wanted to do this every Sunday! lol:-) Shew I was tired...but oh what fun it was. Thanks to Sharayah for helping me entertain the girls!!!

Esther Girls Conference at our Church

SoCals Annual Girls Conference was a great time for our lovely Princess Girls. Sis. Saunders was awesome speaking to the girls on being Royalty!! She was in Character as Dr. Debbie and came up to a rap song...she definately held all of the girls attention--as well as the adults. She was so entertaining and looked so cute with her HUGE hair...(I thought she was a who from whoville?)ha She had to stay around taking pictures endlessly. Paparazzi at it's best!! Oh What Fun We Had!!!!!! I took many pictures myself....and have pictures of our girls and my niece Tori-with Sis. Saunders below and my step-niece Jessica being prayed over by Papa & Grandma Davis & my Step Sister Glenna behind her..... she was one of the older girls (15 yr olds) to walk the aisle & be crowned. What a time of renewal and making new friends. Our ladies had an awesome Tea Party on Friday night for all the girls under the leadership of a first class cook....Carla Compton!

Cupcakery's are THE "thing" in Cali...tried a new one today....

Had fun scouting out the Thrift Stores & Antique Stores around Ventura & Montecito

**I thought it was so cute to see the owners dog watching us walk in from the 2nd floor window. The dog was really bored in there and watching customers is the entertainment of the day!!

One of my fun finds....a large advertising tin plate from 1900. It has a picture of a beautiful Spanish lady on it. I loved the rosey & gold colors and the worn look of a unique piece. I love collecting portraits in various forms.

Beautiful California Hidden Gem

The San Ysidro Ranch was the honeymoon spot for President J.F. Kennedy & Jacqueline Kennedy. There is a cottage named after them. Sir Lawrence Olivier & Vivien Leigh were married there also.

Special 24th Anniversary Dinner...San Ysidro Ranch

I LOVED the San Ysidro Ranch. We ate at the historic Stone House Restaurant. Absolutely the best restaurant in California!!!!

Sir Lawrence Olivier & Vivian Leigh were married there. I am enjoying this as much as any of my European trips.

Love a hot pot of tea...'anytime' -with a friend or alone!
